Quade coasts to knockout win
QUADE Cooper has coasted to his third professional boxing win after dealing a clean knockout blow in the second round.
Fighting fellow Queenslander Jack McInnes as an undercard to the highly anticipated Anthony Mundine-Danny Green rematch, Cooper was in cruise control for the entire bout.
The Queensland Reds flyhalf asserted his dominance early in the first round, dishing several heavy left-right combinations which left his 22-year-old opponent dazed.
McInnes defended with some vigour and was able to stay on his feet, much to the delight of the Adelaide Oval crowd at the conclusion of the first round.

But any hope of an underdog tale was quickly dashed in the second round, as Cooper felled McInnes with a fierce right hand hook after a flurry of punches.
The fight has drawn heavy criticism online as McInnes was clearly never any challenge to Cooper, who now holds a 3-0 professional record.
Cooper, who will not play in next weekend’s Brisbane Tens, will now prepare for his return to the Reds in a February 14 trial against the Melbourne Rebels.
