Baron Corbin Officially Out As Acting WWE Raw General Manager
Following his defeat at WWE TLC to Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin has officially been removed as acting WWE Raw General Manager.
Even though he was defeated by Strowman, with the help of several members from the WWE Raw roster, Corbin still attempted to become the permanent General Manager during the opening segment of the show last night.
Once the McMahon family had made their announcement, promising WWE Raw to become fresher, with new Superstars and match-ups, Corbin made his way down to the ring to lobby for his job back.
After some discussion from the McMahon’s, Corbin was awarded an opportunity to become the General Manager, if he could win one match…against Kurt Angle. That one on one match then ended up being made into a handicap no disqualification match as Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, and Apollo Crews joined in the action.
Of course, Corbin failed to win the match and is now no longer in any position of power on WWE Raw. Later in the night, he blamed his situation on Seth Rollins, setting up a match between them for next week.
